Who is responsible

This site is run by Lund Nordstrøm, trading as Paw Print Press, CVR 28461933, Nøddegade 45, 1tv, 1165 København K, Denmark. Email: mail@pawprintpressbooks.com. We are the controller for the personal data described on this page.

What this site does

It sets no cookies, runs no analytics and loads no fonts, scripts, maps or videos from other websites. Everything you see is served from this site alone. The only link to another company is the Amazon link you choose to follow, described under Links to Amazon below.

Server logs

Our web hosting company keeps standard technical logs of visits, such as IP address, date and time, and the page requested. We use them only for security and to keep the site running.

Contact form and email

If you write to us through the contact form or by email, we receive the name, email address and message you give us. We use them to reply to you. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in answering questions sent to us (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)). If you ask about buying something, the basis is taking steps at your request (Article 6(1)(b)). You do not have to use the form. Without a name and an email address we cannot reply.

The form sends your message by email from our own web hosting. It does not set cookies and does not use any outside service. The message is stored in our mailbox. We keep it for 6 months after the last message in a conversation, then delete it.

Spam protection

To limit spam, the form keeps a hashed (pseudonymised) version of your IP address together with a time stamp. It does not keep your name or your message. Each entry counts for one hour. The file is tidied each time a message is sent through the form, so an entry can stay on our server for longer than an hour if nobody uses the form after you. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in keeping the form free of spam.

Who receives your data

Our web hosting and email provider, Simply.com, handles the data for us as our data processor. We do not sell your data and we do not share it with anyone else.

Links to Amazon

The buy button on this site is an affiliate link. If you follow it and buy, Amazon pays us a small commission, and the price you pay stays the same. As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.

When you follow the link, your browser connects to Amazon, and Amazon may set cookies or use similar technology to recognise your visit and credit a purchase to us. That happens on Amazon's site and Amazon is responsible for it. Amazon's own privacy notice and cookie rules apply from that moment. Nothing is sent to Amazon from this site until you choose to follow a link.

The review links lead to Amazon too, and they are plain links without an affiliate tag.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of the data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, ask us to restrict how we use it, and object to our use of it. Where we rely on your consent you can withdraw it at any time, and where it applies you can ask to receive your data in a portable format. Write to mail@pawprintpressbooks.com and we will answer within one month. You can also complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency (Datatilsynet), www.datatilsynet.dk.
